Australian dishes can never be complete without garlic. Garlic is not just about flavouring our foods and dishes. It is more than that. They are high in nutrients that our body needs. It is sometimes called a miracle drug and is recommended as a product to ward of colds and flu.
There are not many dishes in which we cannot use garlic. It can be used in most meat dishes and is great just baked on its own with a meat dish in the oven.
There is one more use for garlic. It is said to ward of Vampires, however I don’t think that we need it for that in Australia.
After eating garlic a very good breath freshener is fresh parsley.
Buy fresh garlic and a good tip is to always have some in your pantry.
